This gingerbread midwife is dressed ready for a day’s work delivering cute gingerbread babies. They have a cute embroidered pocket identification badge on their chest and a baby swaddled in a blanket. They are made from soft quality teddy brown gingerbread felt. Each gingerbread body is made first and then the clothing and accessories are stitched on in layers using wool blends and acrylic felt. This is done using a cute applique method and embroidered detailing is added with quality embroidery silk, finished off with a contrasting ribbon
